We went to the pumpkin patch. Well....what we thought was a pumpkin patch. It wasn't very close to home but we thought the drive would be worth it cause we love going to pumpkin patches around Halloween to get our pumpkins. It turned out to just be a produce store that sold pumpkins that was named The Pumpkin Patch. Sadly we will have to be missing out on that tradition while we are here but oh well, we did still get our pumpkins. We really miss the pumpkin patches in Michigan where you could also get apple cider, pumpkin donuts, and let the kids play on bales of hay and go for hayrides. I guess every place has it's advantages. We told Jonas to choose a pumpkin and he tapped his chin with his finger and said, "hmmmm it's hard to choose"
The other cool thing that I wanted to write about is that Jonas has been going to a tumble time (gymnastics) class for toddlers. His dad's been flipping him and tossing him around for a long time so I knew Jonas would love the class and he does. Of course because it was a new situation, he needed some forceful encouragement at first, but he quickly decided that he liked it. He is learning some pretty sweet skills.
