Out and About

We had a fun week. We got to go to the beach at the beginning of the week (James had some time off). We usually needed a sweater and the water was too cold to swim in, but it was still very nice. We talked about how we used to freeze our bums off for three quarters of the year in Michigan and how nice it was to be able enjoy going outside in the month of November. We also got to go to the Savannah Children's book festival. Jonas got to get a picture and autograph from Miss Rosa from PBS. She is so cute and teaches the kids some spanish words after each show. He was pretty excited to tell her how much he loved the super readers.

And I finally got asked the question. Thought I might avoid it this time around. NO I am not having twins. I just look I am.

My mom is so talented

I just want to show off my mom's awsome talents. She made these quilts for my babies. The first two are for the new baby and the blue and yellow one was made for Jonas. They are so much more cute than anything I could buy in the store. I wish I had some of her talent for sewing instead of being literally sewing impaired but I'm so glad that she is willing to do this for me. Thanks Mom!!

Halloween pics

We went to our ward's trunk or treat. It was pretty fun. Jonas was really overwhelmed at first. He was also very scared of this kid's alien costume. He tried to say hi to the alien and when the alien didn't respond to him, he got very worried. After a while he was running around with all the other kids and having a great time. I was too busy talking to ward members to pull out my camera while we were there so I took some quick snapshots of Jonas and all his loot when we got home. The other picture is James and Jonas enjoying our new rocking chairs. We found a great deal on them at the neighborhood yard sale.
